Custom units for the Sarroch Refinery

The Sarroch Refinery is located on the southwestern coast of Sardinia. Owned by Saras, it has the highest production capacity of any Mediterranean refinery and a refining capacity of about 15 million tons per year. The refinery is within easy reach of European and north African countries in the central western Mediterranean.

Custom round baseplate

In 2017 Mampaey already supplied four double Quick Release Mooring Units and four single Quick Release Mooring Units with integral capstan and outfitted with the Electric Remote Control System. All units are made with custom round baseplates to fit the existing anchor bolt patterns of the old units which are replaced.

This year Mampaey supplied three additional Quick Release Mooring Units: one Double Hook Quick Release Mooring Unit with a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 100 Tons and two Single Hook Quick Release Mooring Units with an SWL of 75 Tons. Same as in 2017, the units have an integral capstan, are outfitted with the Electrical Remote Control System and are also made with custom round baseplates.
