Local delivery: units for HES Hartel Tank Terminal

We deliver products all over the world but sometimes our products remain closer to home. A little over 50 kilometers away from our office is the HES Hartel Tank Terminal for which we supplied six Quick Release Mooring Hooks.

HES Hartel Tank Terminal

The HES Hartel Tank Terminal is being developed at the Hartelstrook in the port of Rotterdam. The terminal is currently under construction, but the aim is to start operating the terminal in the third quarter of 2021. The nautical equipment is planned to be ready by the end of 2019. The terminal will store oil products, such as diesel, gasoil, fuel, petrol components and kerosene, as well as several biofuels, for instance ethanol.

Quadruple Quick Release Mooring Units

The quay built at the terminal will be able to moor three large or six smaller ships. For this quay Mampaey supplied six mooring units: one Quadruple Hook Quick Release Mooring Unit “V-Type” with an SWL of 125 ton and integral capstan, one Quadruple Hook Quick Release Mooring Unit “back to back” with an SWL of 125 ton and integral capstan and four Quadruple Hook Quick Release Mooring Unit “back to back” with an SWL of 75 ton and integral capstan.
