The national oil company of Croatia, and valued returning customer, ordered and received 6 of our sets of Double Hook Mooring Units, each having a safe working load of 100 metric tons and coming with an Electric Remote Control System. An Environmental Monitoring System and a Central Monitoring System with a Remote Control Panel were included. The entire configuration will be placed at their coke import terminal port of Urinj.
From our end, the biggest challenge of this order was to find a way to keep the units operational within an area heavily subjected to dust and debris coming from the cokes. Therefore the sensitive parts of the Mooring Units were customized and protected by covers keeping the dust out, a practice perfected through years of experience by Mampaey Offshore Industries.
